The CAB CONCEPT CLUSTER (CCC) was founded at the beginning of 2014 by Fritz Schadeck,
Vice President Sales at Fritzmeier Systems GmbH, and Dr. Thomas Hiebaum, Corporate Vice
President for the Business Unit Global Off-Highway at HELLA.
The objective of the network of leading suppliers and research facilities is to illustrate to OEMs
and manufacturers of industrial trucks the unique potential of efficient systems integration in
the construction and agricultural machinery industries.
The cooperation with renowned researchers such as Prof. Dr. Jens Krzwinski of TU Dresden
University of Technology and OEMs of the “Off Highway” sector quickly bore fruit.
The “Genius CAB” includes innovative features by all cluster partners, setting new market standards
worldwide in terms of safety, operability, enhanced driver comfort, maintenance and design.
Industry professionals will be able to experience the model cab for the first time in April in
Munich at bauma 2016, the world’s leading trade fair for construction, building material,
mining machines, construction vehicles and equipment.
Members of the cluster include companies such as AURORA, BOSCH, Fritzmeier, GRAMMER,
HELLA, HYDAC, MEKRA Lang, SAVVY® Telematic Systems AG, S.M.A., Lumod design agency,
TU Dresden University of Technology, VDBUM Association and Max Bögl.
